Description

WR134 is a Wolf-Rayet star, a super hot, massive star shown here blowing off its outer layers and expanding the blueish bubble in the center. The bright shockwave arc is formed as the bubble is expands against the red, ionized hydrogen gas cloud surrounding the star. This nebulosity is quite faint and this image has a total integration time of 28 hours using Red, Green, Blue, Ha and OIII filters.
